Carrie Clements is an aspiring writer from Minnesota. Dreams of being a professional student were dashed due to the rising cost of tuition. So instead, Carrie settled for an MFA in Creative Writing, with a focus on living in poverty. She writes contemporary YA that incorporates magical realism, quirky characters, and vivid descriptions. Her work has garnered local and national writing awards, as well as two enthusiastic thumbs up from her mother.
